Injuries (First-Aider & Chow Tsz-Lok).

(Context: Chow Tsz-Lok fell from the Sheung Tak carport and died on 4 November 2019. The circumstances surrounding his death have been a point of contention. No sign has indicated he was murdered, and he most likely fell while running away from a protest.)

1/ What do #ChowTszLok's injuries tell us? Most injuries were found on the right side of his body - hematoma on the forehead - bruises around the eye - bleeding from the nose - multiple skull fractures - subdural hematoma - minor pneumothorax - hip fracture and bleeding.

2/ It's likely that Chow might already be unconscious before he fell - no sign of tear gas inhalation - no bullet mark nor superficial injury on the body - no abrasion nor deformation of the limbs.

1/ An update on the first aider who suffered severe burn on his back after being hit by a teargas canister during a protest last Nov. He was expelled from Shue Yan Uni for poor academic performance, and has recently restarted his freshman year in another unnamed institution. (Source video showing injury being sustained).

2/ According to #Mingpao, Ah Yan (a pseudonym) missed his first-term exam last year because of his injury (which only stabilised in March this year). He then had to start working part-time to support himself after being kicked out of his home for his political views.3/ He struggled to manage his time and maintain focus on his studies. For 2 consecutive terms, he received a GPA of 0 point as a combined result of absence from exams, poor attendance records and missing assignments. Eventually, he was expelled from Shue Yan.4/ Restarting his freshman year in an unnamed institution now, Ah Yan hopes to pursue his dream and become a paramedic in the future.5/ The original article (Translated from Ming Pao).
